Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh Pays Tribute to Guru Arjan Dev Ji on His ‘Shaheedi Diwas’
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh paid his solemn tributes to Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru, on his ‘Shaheedi Diwas’.
In a message, Shri Rajnath Singh recalled the immense contribution of Guru Arjan Dev Ji to spiritual and social life, describing him as a symbol of sacrifice, compassion and unwavering commitment to truth. He noted that Guru Arjan Dev Ji played a historic role in giving the Guru Granth Sahib its final form, thereby strengthening the spiritual foundations of Sikhism.
The Raksha Mantri said that Guru Arjan Dev Ji remained steadfast in upholding the values of faith, culture and humanity even in the face of severe adversity and persecution. Shri Rajnath Singh said, his life continues to inspire generations with its message of courage, selfless service, and devotion to righteous principles.
The Raksha Mantri further stated that the supreme sacrifice made by Guru Arjan Dev Ji for the protection of faith and human values will remain a timeless source of inspiration for society and will continue to guide people on the path of truth, harmony and compassion.
