Raksha Mantri Pays Tribute to Ram Vilas Paswan on his Jayanti, Hails his Commitment to Social Justice
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on Sunday paid a heartfelt tribute to former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on his Jayanti, remembering him as a leader who devoted his entire public life to the cause of social justice, democratic values and the empowerment of the marginalized.
In a message shared on social media, Shri Rajnath Singh described Ram Vilas Paswan as a leader whose lifelong commitment was directed towards safeguarding the rights of Dalits, the backward classes, and other underprivileged sections of society. He said Paswan remained steadfast in his efforts to ensure that the benefits of justice, opportunity and dignity reached those at the very last realm of society.
The Raksha Mantri noted that Ram Vilas Paswan consistently placed human sensitivities at the centre of governance and policymaking, striving to make public policies more inclusive and equitable.
