Raksha Mantri Pays Tribute to Brave Infantrymen on Shaurya Diwas
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh paid tributes to the courage, valour and sacrifice of the Infantry personnel of the Indian Army on the occasion of Shaurya Diwas, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to safeguarding the nation.
In his message on ‘X’, Raksha Mantri recalled the distinguished legacy of the Indian Army’s Infantry, highlighting their steadfast commitment to duty from the historic battlefields of 1947 to the challenging frontiers of the present day. He noted that Infantrymen have consistently demonstrated exceptional courage and determination, standing firm in the face of overwhelming odds whenever the nation has called upon them.
Shri Rajnath Singh stated that the unwavering devotion to duty, remarkable bravery and spirit of supreme sacrifice displayed by Infantry personnel embodies the finest traditions of the Armed Forces.
He further emphasised that the nation takes immense pride in its Infantry and remains deeply grateful for the service and sacrifices of its brave personnel, whose dedication continues to uphold India’s sovereignty and security.
