Raksha Mantri Pays Glowing Tributes to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his 125th Jayanti
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on Monday paid solemn tributes to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his 125th Jayanti, describing him as a staunch nationalist thinker and visionary whose life and ideals continue to inspire generations.
In a post on social media, Raksha Mantri showed huge respect to the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and lauded his unwavering commitment to the principle of “Nation First, Always First.” He said Dr. Mookerjee’s life was defined by unwavering resolve, fearlessness and a scientific temper.
Highlighting Dr. Mookerjee’s contribution to Indian politics, the Raksha Mantri said he laid the ideological foundation of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and served as the ideological forerunner of the Bharatiya Janata Party. According to RakshaMantri, Dr. Mookerjee’s vision helped shape a strong nationalist ideology that gave a new direction to Indian politics.
