Raksha Mantri extends greetings to Indian Coast Guard on Raising Day
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh extended warm greetings to the personnel of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and their families on the occasion of the force’s Raising Day, lauding their dedication, courage and service to the nation.
In a message shared on social media, the Raksha Mantri described the Indian Coast Guard as a “steadfast guardian of our coasts,” highlighting its crucial role in protecting India’s maritime interests, combating threats at sea and ensuring national security. He said the force has consistently served the nation with pride and valour.
Expressing confidence in the ICG’s capabilities, Shri Rajnath Singh stated that with its unwavering commitment, the Coast Guard will continue to perform its duties efficiently while meeting emerging maritime challenges. He also emphasised the importance of upholding the organisation’s motto, “वयम् रक्षाम – We Protect.”
