Farming is the main source of Employment: Shri Rajnath Singh
BJP National President Shri Rajnath Singh addressed an Agro Vision Exhibition in Nagpur.
Farmers are the backbone of the country. If we want to see India as a developed country we can’t neglect this sector.
Naturally much work is needed to lift the agriculture to a level i.e., lesser dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Soil fertility is a major problem in many parts of India. With increasing use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides the conventional agriculture is major source of pollution. Excessive use of chemical products for more production is harmful and it directly affects the environment and human health.
Organic farming is the best natural way. Organic farming must be promoted and farmers must use organic fertilizers and seeds. Farmers in India are not given proper knowledge regarding farming. Even farmers have no idea about soil type. Government is not paying attention to agriculture field. Farmers are not been given subsidy and agriculture has not been promoted the way it should be. Every farmer in the country must get a bank account and the subsidy must be directly credited to their account.
Farming is the main source of employment for the people in India and it can reduce the unemployment rate. The need of the hour is to promote agriculture and its techniques. If farmers of the country are unhappy then happiness in the country can’t even be imagined.
I appreciate BJP leader Shri Nitin Gadkari for this great cause. He must be credited for working hard for the betterment of farmers.
On the other part, when asked about the judgment that came today in favor of BJP Projected PM Shri Narendra Modi, he said ‘I welcome the decision of the Ahmedabad Court open heartedly and the same was expected’.
