Shri Rajnath Singh addresses election meetings in Uttar Pradesh
The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh today addressed two rallies at Kasta assembly constituency in Lakhimpur Kheri and Bharthana assembly constituency in Etawah. Addressing the people at Lakhimpur Kheri he reaffirmed his government’s most important prerogative of nation building through inclusive development and clean governance.
Thanking people of Uttar Pradesh for giving a decisive mandate which helped BJP form a strong government at Centre, the Home Minister said,” People of Uttar Pradesh elected Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of the country and nobody can deny this fact that our Prime Minister has raised the honour and prestige of the country manifold through his work”.
Talking about the surgical strikes in September last year, Shri Singh said, “We showed the world that we cannot just fight this side of the border, if the need arise we can cross the border and show our strength too”.
The HM also stressed that how development in Uttar Pradesh had to suffer because of power tussle and family feud in the Samajwadi Party (SP). “If they had to indulge in all this drama they should have done it before forming the government. Why all this drama after forming the government”, remarked Home Minister.
Commenting upon the Congress-Samajwadi Party (SP) alliance Home Minister said that it was Mulayam Singh Yadav who opposed the Congress tooth and nail for all these years and now they have entered into the alliance with the same party.
He further said, “सपा ने जिस कांग्रेस से समझौता किया जो चार महीने पहले ही खटिया पकड़ चुकी है और कांग्रेस ने साइकल थामा है जो पंक्चर है”. (Congress has bet on a cycle that is already punctured and Samajwadi Party has entered into an alliance with a party that has already collapsed of illness)
Highlighting the fact that how under Samajwadi Party’s (SP) five year rule crime rate increased manifold in Uttar Pradesh and law and order situation worsened, Shri Singh assured the people that if the BJP formed the government in Uttar Pradesh all anti-social elements would be taken to task.
Promising a host of policy reforms and schemes for the benefit of farmers, women and students after the BJP comes to power, Shri Singh said that all farm loans would be waived off and farmers will get agricultural loans on 0% interest rates.
Talking about his government strong intent of fighting the menace of black money he said that after coming to power in 2014 his government’s first decision was to form a special investigation team (SIT) on black money. He further added, “Demonetization was a historic step and was a war against black money, terrorism and this war against these elements will continue”.
Talking about how some political parties had played with future of youth for political gain he said, “When I was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, I introduced the anti-copying law which was overturned by the Samajwadi Party (SP) government when they came to power. They played with future of the young people and even God will not forgive them for this”.
While rubbishing the development claims made by the current Akhilesh Yadav government Shri Singh appealed to the people to votes for kamal if they want real development in Uttar Pradesh.

उत्तर प्रदेश में ५ वर्षो में ७५ लाख से १ करोड़ नौजवानों को रोजगार के अवसर देने का लक्ष्य होगा
कीचड़ में भी अगर खिलेगा तो सिर्फ कमल ही खिलेगा, सपा बसपा ने उत्तर प्रदेश में कीचड़ ही कीचड़ कर दिया है इसलिए अब यहाँ कमल के अलावा कोई विकल्प ही नहीं है
