The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh will decorate Gallant Officers and Men at the 13th Border Security Force (BSF) Investiture Ceremony 2015 being held at CRPF Officers’ Institute ‘Shaurya’, here tomorrow.
The BSF Investiture Ceremony is celebrated on 22nd May every year in remembrance of its founding father Khusro Faramurz Rustamji (K F Rustamji) who was born on this day in the year 1916. Tomorrow will be the 99th Birth Anniversary of Rustamji.
During the BSF Investiture Ceremony 2015, five (05) gallant men will be awarded with Police medal for gallantry. Out of five, one is being posthumously awarded with Police Medal for Gallantry. Besides, one more is posthumously awarded with Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak. During the Ceremony, 27 BSF Officers and men will be decorated with Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
