Union Home Minister condoles loss of lives due to stampede in Jharkhand
The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh has condoled the loss of lives due to stampede at Deoghar in Jharkhand, today. Shri Rajnath Singh has expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in the stampede. “I pray for speedy recovery of the injured”, he added.
The Union Home Minister also spoke to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Raghubar Das who apprised him of the situation in Deoghar after the stampede and requested for extra Rapid Action Force (RAF) deployment.
Shri Rajnath Singh has instructed the Union Home Secretary, Shri LC Goyal to send two RAF companies to Deoghar for better crowd and security management, in addition to the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) already deployed in the State.
