Union Home Minister appeals all to maintain peace
The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh appealed to all sections of society to maintain peace in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur districts of Assam. He said that the situation was reviewed in a high level meeting, including senior officers of Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Defence.
Shri Rajnath Singh further informed that additional 50 CAPF Companies have been provided to Assam for maintaining peace in the State.
