Centre committed for development of North-Eastern Region, says MoS (Home), Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary has said that the Centre is totally committed for the overall development of the North-Eastern Region (NER). He said that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has advised all the Union Ministers to visit the North-Eastern States to listen to the problems and issues of the North-Eastern people and ensure that the developmental programmes are implemented on time. Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary was addressing a group of school children from Nagaland who are on a study tour to Delhi-Agra-Jaipur, arranged by the Assam Rifles Headquarters as a part of the National Integration Programmes for the NER.
Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said that he looks forward to visiting the NER very shortly. He encouraged the young students to experience the vast cultural diversity of the country during their tour and spread the message of national integration back home.
