The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh formally handed over Resident Identity Card (RIC) readers, in New Delhi on January 14, 2015. The Union Minister for Defence, Shri Manohar Parrikar, the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R.K. Dhowan and the Director General (Coast Guard), Vice Admiral Anurag G. Thapliyal, the Secretary (BM), Smt. Sneh Lata Kumar and the General & Census Commissioner, India, Dr. C. Chandramouli are also seen.
