Trilokpuri clashes: Rajnath pulls up Delhi Police, Congress says he must quit (28-10-2014)
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday took the police commissioner to task about what Delhi Police was doing to contain the communal situation in Trilokpuri, amid growing clamour from the Congress which demanded the resignations from Singh and Delhi Lt-Governor Najeeb Jung. Sources said Singh called police chief BS Bassi and asked him to move ahead from the “superficial measures” taken by his force and get to the bottom of the rioting.
