Ranchi, Aug. 18: An AK-47-toting Maoist area commander and a policeman were killed while Ranchi SSP Prabhat Kumar, two of his men and two other rebels injured this afternoon in an encounter on the Ranchi-Khunti border disturbingly close to the capital, barely 12km from the famed Dassam Falls.
