Rajnath Singh to states: ‘Stop cattle smuggling completely’ May 21, 2016.
The Home Ministry has written to various states, asking them to clamp down on cattle smuggling to Bangladesh. Home Minister Rajnath Singh said Friday that not only has the BSF been asked to be more alert regarding cattle smuggling on India’s eastern border, but even states, from where these cattle come, have been asked to ensure that they are not sold for slaughter in Bangladesh.
