NEW DELHI: Home minister Rajnath Singh has approved revised norms on disaster management with a focus on countering rumours and not taking complaints of missing persons lightly given the possibility of human trafficking. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) also wants three-hourly updates on ‘red’ category alerts regarding an impending disaster.
