Rajnath Singh announces 100-km ring road to decongest Lucknow June 09, 2015 .
Lucknow, Jun 9: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said the Centre has approved construction of a 100-km long ring road, costing over Rs 3,000 crore, to decongest the expanding state capital. ”To decongest the city a 100-km long ring road is to be constructed in Lucknow. Ministry of road transport and highways has given clearance for it and the project will cost more than Rs 3,000 crore,” Singh, Member of Parliament from Lucknow, said while addressing a programme here.
