Northeast earthquake: New Delhi rushes in 83 rescuers, doctors on way Jan 5, 2016 .
The Centre airlifted 83 rescuers of the National Disaster Relief Force from Guwahati to Imphal Monday. Another team of 35 NDRF rescuers was deployed in Silchar.The dispatch followed a morning meeting of the National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) chaired by Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha.
