Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was sharing extreme pain over a Rajasthan farmer’s suicide who hanged himself from a tree at an AAP rally on Wednesday. Welcoming a collective resolve emerging from an impromptu discussion on the issue, he called for suggestions to end farmer’s distress and spate of suicides. Modi said these problems are ‘deep-rooted’ and must be addressed collectively for which he is open to suggestions.
