LUCKNOW: Half of Lucknow gets unsafe drinking water as the Gomti has dangerous levels of sewage content. Though 25 pumping stations are used to divert untreated sewage to two sewage treatment plants at Daulatganj (56 MLD) and Bharwara (345 MLD), Gomti water remains impure.
