New Delhi: Both Houses of Parliament on Thursday witnessed uproarious scenes over the tragic suicide of a farmer Gajendra Singh from Rajasthan’s Dausa district who ended his life during the AAP rally at Jantar Mantar yesterday. The Opposition today demanded a thorough probe into the incident while pressing the Narendra Modi government to withdraw the controversial land acquisition ordinance, which they see as “anti-farmer and anti-poor.”
