Bharat Ratna conferred on ailing Vajpayee March 27 , 2015 .
New Delhi, March 27: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a statesman who endeared himself to people across the political spectrum, was today conferred with Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian award at a special function at his residence.
