Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh chairs High Level Committee meeting for Central assistance to Karnataka
The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting of the High Level Committee (HLC) here today to consider the additional Central Assistance to the State of Karnataka (affected by floods/landslides during 2018-19).
The Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Agriculture, Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Home Secretary Shri Rajiv Gauba and senior officers of the Ministries of Home Affairs, Finance and Agriculture and NITI Aayog were present in the meeting.
The HLC approved the additional assistance from National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) of Rs. 546.21 crore to Karnataka.
The Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Shri Arun Jaitley, the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Radha Mohan Singh and the Union Home Secretary, Shri Rajiv Gauba are also seen.
