Raksha Mantri pays tribute to Pingali Venkayya on his Jayanti

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh paid solemn tribute to Pingali Venkayya ji on his Jayanti. RM said Venkayya ji conceptualised the design on India’s National Flag.

His creation, the Tiranga, is not just a flag, it embodies the spirit of freedom, unity and the aspirations of a rising India. RM said the symbol Venkayya ji gave to India continues to inspire every Indian.

In a post on ‘X’, RM said, “Heartfelt tributes to Pingali Venkayya ji on his Jayanti. He conceptualised the design of our National Flag.
