Raksha Mantri pays glorious tribute to Indian Armed Forces on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh paid a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Armed Forces on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Raksha Mantri said the bravehearts displayed extraordinary courage, grit and determination in defending the nation’s honour in the toughest of terrains.
RM said, their supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War stands as a shining symbol of unmatched bravery and unbreakable spirit. Facing treacherous terrain and fierce enemy fire, Indian soldiers displayed relentless courage and undying patriotism to protect the motherland. Their sheer willpower to protect India’s honour led to a historic victory that echoes through generations with pride. India shall remain forever indebted to their service, RM further said.

On the occasion of Kargil Diwas today, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh also laid a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi to honour the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War in 1999.
