The Defence Research & Development Organisation has successfully carried out flight trials of UAV Launched Precision Guided Missile (ULPGM)-V3 in the National Open Area Range (NOAR), test range in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh hailed the DRDO for their success and called it a major boost to India’s defence capabilities.
Raksha Mantri also congratulated DRDO and the industry partners, DcPPs, MSMEs and Start-ups for the development and successful trials of the ULPGM-V3 system. This accomplishment highlights that the Indian industry is now capable of adopting and manufacturing vital defence technologies, RM further said. It signifies a major step towards self-reliance and production of critical defence technologies, reducing dependency on foreign suppliers and strengthening national security infrastructure.
