Raksha Mantri greets Naval Personnel on Navy Day, hails Indian Navy’s role in safeguarding India’s maritime interests

India’s Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh extended warm greetings and best wishes to all personnel and families of the Indian Navy on the occasion of Navy Day, commending their service, dedication and professionalism.

In his message, Raksha Mantri highlighted India’s position as the largest resident naval power in the Indian Ocean and praised the Navy’s unwavering commitment to protecting the nation’s maritime interests. He noted that the force continues to serve with “valour and vigilance,” while advancing the vision of Aatmanirbharta  and contributing to India’s march towards Viksit Bharat.

Reflecting on the Navy’s achievements over the past year, Raksha Mantri said the high standards demonstrated by naval personnel give him “immense confidence” in the force’s readiness to safeguard and promote national maritime priorities.
