Raksha Mantri extends heartfelt wishes on Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. RM said this festival is not just a symbol of the sanctity of the Rakhi thread but also of the pledge of respect, safety and happiness of our sisters. Praying to the almighty, RM said may this festival of brother-sister affection strengthen the feeling of protective power present within all the citizens.
In a post on ‘X’ RM said, “Heartiest greetings to all of you on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. This festival is not just a symbol of the sanctity of the Rakhi thread but also of the pledge of respect, safety and happiness and prosperity of our sisters. May this festival, a symbol of brother-sister affection, strengthen the feeling of protective power present within us. This is my prayer to God.”
