On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, India’s Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh extended heartfelt greetings to citizens across the country, emphasizing the enduring relevance of Lord Ram’s ideals in modern society.
In a message shared on ‘X’, Raksha Mantri highlighted the virtues embodied by Lord Ram, revered as Maryada Purushottam, meaning the ideal man. He further noted that Lord Ram’s life continues to instill values of truth, sacrifice and dedication to the welfare of humanity.
The Defence Minister also underscored the significance of Lord Ram’s model of governance, describing it as a symbol of justice, equality, and public welfare. He remarked that these principles remain a guiding force for the nation as it progresses on the path of development.
Calling for collective resolve, Shri Rajnath Singh urged citizens to work towards building a strong, harmonious, self-reliant, and developed India by following the ideals set by Lord Ram. Concluding his message with the traditional salutation, “Jai Siya Ram,” he reflected the cultural and spiritual essence of the occasion.
