The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh congratulated Shri Kailash Satyarthi on winning the Nobel Peace Prize for the movement he launched against child labour & child trafficking. Shri Kailash Satyarthi is a champion of child rights whose work is now recognised internationally, the Home Minister added.
Shri Rajnath Singh also congratulated the Pakistani teenager Ms. Malala Yousufzai on sharing the Nobel Peace Honours with Shri Kailash Satyarthi. The Home Minister said that Ms. Malala Yousufzai`s spirited fight for education to girls in Pakistan has inspired many in South Asia.
