Raksha Mantri Pays Tribute to Revolutionary Jatindranath Das on His Jayanti
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh paid tribute to the great revolutionary Jatindranath Das on his Jayanti, remembering his courage, determination and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom struggle.
The Raksha Mantri recalled Jatindranath Das’s immense contribution to the freedom movement and his resistance against the injustices perpetrated by the British colonial regime. He highlighted how Das remained steadfast in his resolve despite being subjected to severe torture during his imprisonment and continued to raise his voice against the mistreatment of fellow freedom fighters.
Shri Rajnath Singh noted that even within the confines of prison, Jatindranath Das posed a formidable challenge to British rule through his courage and determination. His life, he said, remains an enduring source of inspiration for standing firm against injustice and enduring hardships in the service of the nation’s honour.
The Raksha Mantri said that the Jantindranath’s unwavering patriotism and supreme dedication to the motherland would continue to inspire generations to come.

मातृभूमि की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपना सर्वस्व समर्पित करने वाले जतीन्द्रनाथ दास जी का जीवन अदम्य साहस, दृढ़ संकल्प और राष्ट्रनिष्ठा का प्रतीक है। अंग्रेज़ी हुकूमत ने उन्हें जेल में अनेक यातनाएँ दीं, लेकिन उनका संकल्प नहीं डगमगाया। जेल में रहते हुए भी उन्होंने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के साथ हो रहे दुर्व्यवहार के विरुद्ध आवाज़ उठाई और अंग्रेज़ी शासन को कड़ी चुनौती दी।
उनका जीवन अन्याय के सामने अडिग रहने और राष्ट्र के सम्मान के लिए हर कठिनाई का सामना करने की प्रेरणा देता है।
