Raksha Mantri Pays Tribute to Goswami Tulsidas on Jayanti
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh paid heartfelt tribute to the revered saint and poet Goswami Tulsidas on his Jayanti, recalling his immense contribution to Indian devotional literature and cultural consciousness.
In a post on social media, Shri Rajnath Singh said Tulsidas bridged the gap between devotion and public consciousness through his timeless works. He highlighted the significance of ‘Shri Ramcharitmanas’, through which Tulsidas brought the ideals of Lord Shri Ram into the lives of ordinary people.
The Raksha Mantri said Tulsidas’s works illuminate the path of truth, righteousness, compassion, duty and public welfare. He noted that his writings are not merely expressions of devotion but also serve as an invaluable beacon of Indian values and cultural consciousness.
