Raksha Mantri Pays Tribute to Freedom Fighter Madan Lal Dhingra
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on Monday paid humble tributes to revolutionary freedom fighter Madan Lal Dhingra on his Balidan Diwas, recalling his exceptional courage and patriotism in the struggle against British rule.
In a message, Shri Rajnath Singh said Dhingra demonstrated indomitable courage and fearlessly stood against British rule. He noted that when Madan Lal Dhingra was tried for his revolutionary activities, he courageously demanded the death penalty for himself.
The Raksha Mantri said Dhingra embraced martyrdom with a smile for the freedom of his motherland. He added that the revolutionary’s courage, patriotism and dedication to the nation would continue to inspire the people of the country forever.
