Raksha Mantri hails ISRO’s LVM3-M6 mission as major boost to India’s Space Journey

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on Tuesday lauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful LVM3-M6 mission, describing it as a proud milestone in India’s space journey. In a post on social media, the Raksha Mantri said the mission, which placed the heaviest satellite ever launched from Indian soil—BlueBird Block-2 of the United States, into its designated orbit, reflects India’s growing strength in advanced space capabilities.

Raksha Mantri credited the achievement to the Government of India’s sustained focus on strengthening the space sector, highlighting policy support, strategic vision and continued investment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the ecosystem for complex and heavy-lift missions had been consistently empowered, enabling ISRO to take on more challenging and globally significant launches.

Praising ISRO’s scientists and engineers, the Raksha Mantri said the mission once again showcased their exceptional skill, dedication and professionalism. He noted that the successful launch further enhanced India’s heavy-lift launch capabilities and reinforced the country’s credibility as a reliable provider of space launch services on the global stage.

Extending warm congratulations to the entire ISRO team, RM said the achievement has elevated India’s stature among leading spacefaring nations and has marked another significant step forward in the country’s expanding role in the international space sector.
